Context switching is an important skill
Context switching is important because coding is not the bottleneck anymore, it's anything that requires human approval.
This could be PRs, getting access to something, financial approval, sign-off, alignment, etc. It's unfortunate if you excelled at 2010s-era "deep work," since now a certain amount of deep work can be done at a fraction of the time with agents. AI "deep work" might not be as complete and comprehensive, but it's good enough for a lot of tasks.
I think there's still value in doing the meta-level human-loop research optimization, i.e., am I effective in making sure I'm building the right thing, I'm efficient in building it, etc.
